Reducing Cost of Living for Working Families

Reducing Cost of Living for Working Families
Senator McCormick is focused on making life better for working families by reducing the burdens they face and expanding opportunities available to them.  That begins with cutting taxes, reducing burdensome regulations, and ensuring everyone has a fair shot at success.  When given the right tools, like access to a strong education, quality job training, and freedom to compete on a level playing field, Americans always succeed.

He is proud to have supported extending tax cuts for American families so they can keep more hard-earned money in their pocket. These tax benefits include making a permanent increase to the child tax credit, expanding childcare access and making the paid leave tax credit permanent, providing financial relief for seniors with no tax on social security, and enabling no tax on tips.  Reducing tax burdens while also empowering school choice to make education affordable and allow families to choose the school that is best for their children, advocating for more affordable housing solutions so families can benefit from homeownership, and cutting unnecessary red tape to make it easier to start and grow a business help ensure families can keep more of what they earn and save for the future.
