WASHINGTON, D.C. , November 17, 2025 – Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) has joined three bipartisan congressional caucuses: the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus, the Congressional Sportsmen Caucus and the Senate Stewardship Caucus. All three caucuses emphasize collaboration across party lines on issues involving conservation, land management, and economic prosperity.
“Pennsylvania is home to rolling hills, historic landmarks, and beautiful farmland. As U.S. Senator, my priority will always be to advance policies that strengthen our communities, preserve our natural resources, and ensure a strong future for the Pennsylvania we know and love,” said Senator McCormick. “I’m proud to join the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, and the Senate Stewardship Caucus, which share a commitment to bipartisan collaboration on conservation, land management, and energy innovation. Together, we can expand Pennsylvania’s leadership in energy, from natural gas and nuclear to emerging technologies, while ensuring responsible stewardship and lasting resources for generations to come.”
BACKGROUND
The Roosevelt Conservation Caucus
Established in 2019, the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus (RCC) applies right-of-center solutions to a litany of challenges, including clean air and water, next-generation affordable and lower-emission energy sources, wildlife conservation, and access to public lands and waters. These policies stress market-based approaches, private property rights, smart regulation, and cooperative federalism in lieu of top-down and centralized planning.
The Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus:
Founded in 1989, the bipartisan Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) has grown into one of the largest caucuses in the US Congress with more than 200 members representing nearly all 50 states. The CSC partners with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) and works to secure wins for hunters, anglers, recreational shooters and trappers, while advancing initiatives that focus on conservation and fish and wildlife habitat.
The Senate Stewardship Caucus
The Senate Stewardship Caucus focuses on goals of conserving the natural beauty, vast landscapes, and wild spaces that have inspired people throughout our nation’s history. The caucus shares a belief that Congress has a duty to conserve and steward these lands responsibly — keeping them functioning, productive, and accessible for future generations. The priorities of the caucus will include conservation, public land access, outdoor recreation, and responsible land management.
