I am so looking forward to Pennsylvanians visiting my Washington D.C., office and seeing the many notable attractions around the city. If you are interested in a White House or United States Capitol tour, my office is here to assist.
The White House
Our office would be happy to submit a White House tour request on your behalf. The White House is currently offering tours on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 7:30AM to 11:30AM, and Fridays through Saturdays 7:30AM to 1:30PM. Please note that White House tour requests can be placed up to three months in advance but must be submitted at least 21 days prior to the requested date. Unfortunately, the White House will not accommodate tour requests with less than two weeks’ notice, to account for background check processing times required by the Secret Service.
Due to high demand, White House tours cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to request a tour, you may fill out the tour request form below. Tour decisions are made exclusively by the White House Visitors Office approximately 14 days prior to the tour date. The White House, not our office, will notify you of the status of your request at that time. Please note that, per the White House Website: “The White House tour schedule is subject to change, with little notice, based on inclement weather or official use.”
The U.S. Capitol
Senate offices are permitted to bring groups of up to 15 people on a tour and must follow Capitol Visitor Center guidelines. Schools and larger groups can now book tours of up to 50 people led by the Capitol Visitor Center. Our office is happy to reserve these tours for you or help guide you as to where to do that on your own.
Our staff-led tours are available Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM and are planned on a first-come, first-served basis.
