Sen. Dave McCormick visits Philly Shipyard

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Senator Dave McCormick came to Philadelphia to visit the Navy Yard on Monday.

Sen. McCormick was joined by Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy to look at the facilities and highlight how the Philly Shipyard is an example for the whole country.

McCormick says that building ships in Philadelphia will be good for Pennsylvanians and people all over the United States.

“These are incredible, great-paying jobs if we continue to have the great success we’re having here at the Philly Shipyard,” said Sen. Dave McCormick. “We’re going to go from 1,500 employees across multiple sites here to many thousands more.”
